Requirement: Refurbishment of building into The Institute of Translational Medicine
Airwright Midland provided internal and external access scaffolds to VCUK to enable the complete refurbishment of the old Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The main works were HAKI access staircases, perimeter guardrails, fall arrest decks, loading towers and support towers to goods hoists. Airwright Midland also provided 30m high bespoke design box rubbish chutes erected out of tube and fitting to allow the safe removal of materials into skip loading areas which included ranch boarding and monarflex sheeting.
